IPsoft is exciting simply because the company is growing so quickly, and has been consistently for quite some time. As the headcount and the number of client accounts increase, new technologies and challenges are introduced weekly. Be it a completely foreign operating system or a new version of an application server that one has been working with for many years, there is the possibility of becoming an expert resource or guru. Gaining and sharing this technical knowledge is what engineers enjoy. 

 

What were your first few days like at IPsoft?
The first few days were intimidating. The environment seemed so fast paced and complex, but it didn't take long for everything to become           second nature.

How would you describe the culture/work environment at IPsoft?
It's such a team effort here to get the job done. If you get stuck on a problem there is always a person (or more) to jump in and help figure it out.

Why did you choose IPsoft?
I was looking for challenges. I had been working as a help desk engineer before, but I didn’t want to be doing the same thing – I needed to improve on my skills. So after my first week at IPsoft, I asked for more challenges. And I was put on a project that was brand new to me. It was a lot of fun and a lot of work, and I later became the technical executive for the account.

At IPsoft, our processes, services and technology are always changing. Any engineer can step up and get involved in some new project. Even if you don't succeed, you are guaranteed to learn something new. There’s not a lot of limitation here.  Our structure is fairly simple. There are so many ways that anyone can come in and participate.
