Voice Over IP customers are often improperly charged for incomplete calls. These small, incremental charges can really add up, costing enterprise customers millions of dollars annually; such billing issues can also damage customer relationships.

FAS, done correctly, flags potential false billing by detecting problematic communication between a public switched telephone network (PSTN) and the gateways that manage a call to proper termination.
