IPsoft Incorporated today announced that IPsoft President and CEO Chetan Dube received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2011 New York Award. The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Dube was selected by an independent panel of judges, and the award was presented at a gala event honoring outstanding entrepreneurs on June 8 at the Marriott Marquis. Carmine Romano, Ernst & Young LLP Entrepreneur Of The Year New York Program Director, said, “These business leaders have accomplished so much and contributed a tremendous amount to the community. They give us hope for what the next 25 years of entrepreneurs will bring.”
In his acceptance speech, Dube thanked the IPsoft team for its relentless drive to innovate and excel. “We feel honored to be so recognized, but I feel this award belongs more to the brilliant and slightly insane men and women of IPsoft who live, eat and breathe the dream of changing the way infrastructure will be managed tomorrow,” he said. Dube also thanked Alan Turing, the computer scientist who first dreamed of a world in which machine intelligence would rival human intelligence.
IPsoft leverages autonomic engines to provide IT infrastructure management services. About 56 percent of all client problems are resolved without human intervention. The idea is to automate the mundane chores and allow engineers to focus on higher-level tasks and innovation.
The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards Program celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
