IPsoft announces opening of Stockholm office

NEW YORK, NY (August 1, 2009)

IPsoft Incorporated today announced the opening of an office in Stockholm.

The office will be headed by Per Ottosson, a technology manager with vast experience at major companies throughout Europe.

The Nordic region is one of the most IT-mature markets in the world. In Finland, there are actually more mobile phone subscriptions than people. And Scandinavia is one of the most outsourced markets in the world, “so here we will have to measure up against big competitors, both local and global,” Ottosson says.

But lacking in the Nordic region is a service provider that has successfully harnessed the power of automation. At other companies, Ottosson says, “We never managed to get the system to learn. Scripting and teaching worked fine but in an ever changing IT-landscape with hundreds of change requests per day, this was not good enough.”

On the other hand, automation is the hallmark of IPsoft’s industry-leading service model, and IPsoft’s engineers have managed to “clone engineers’ brains,” in a manner of speaking.

“We have the potential to change the world,” Ottosson says.

From the base in Stockholm, IPsoft’s fourth European outpost, Ottosson and his team will target the entire Nordic region and focus on industries ranging from technology to finance.
