IPsoft announces opening of Chicago office
NEW YORK, NY (November 15, 2009) IPsoft Incorporated today announced the opening of an office in Chicago.
The Midwest office is just the latest example of IPsoft’s exponential growth. At a time when other companies are shuttering offices, IPsoft is expanding. In 2009 alone, IPsoft established a presence in Frankfurt, Germany; Stockholm, Sweden; Austin, Texas – and now Chicago, the nation’s third-largest city.
IPsoft’s expansion into the Midwest also reflects the business world’s growing reliance on Managed Services Providers. In September, Gartner – the leading IT research and advisory company – projected that by 2014, 90 percent of all North American companies will be using Remote Infrastructure Management Services.
The Chicago office will provide a strong regional base for IPsoft to target the Chicagoland area, Ohio and Minnesota. Cities such as Columbus, Minneapolis and Cleveland represent a large number of Fortune 500 companies, many of which embrace outsourced solutions.
Associate Vice President Josh Langford joined IPsoft in September to lead the Midwest office. “The natural expansion of a company the size and strength of IPsoft is to go into the largest markets in the US and Europe, so it’s the right time to establish a physical presence in Chicago and attack the market from a point of proximity with local resources,” Langford says.
