IPsoft, the leader in Enterprise AI, has announced the appointment of Alistair Agnew as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
In his role, Alistair will lead the company’s global marketing activities across 18 countries, building IPsoft’s brand and reputation as the No. 1 privately-held AI company. Central to his role will be educating the market on how the world’s most-human AI, Amelia, and 1Desk, the world’s first conversational autonomic platform, are revolutionizing how we work, live and play, now and in the future.
“We connect the world and create unimaginable customer and employee experiences through AI and automation. Alistair has a genuine passion for elevating customer experience expectations by revolutionizing the way machines are able to understand and execute on human requests. We are delighted that he is joining IPsoft to show the market that we are the best partner with whom to enhance enterprises’ Net Promoter Scores,” said Chetan Dube, CEO of IPsoft.
Alistair brings more than twenty years of expertise to the role, most recently as global CMO for Qmatic, a provider of customer journey management solutions. Joining QM Group in 2001, Alistair played a pivotal role in reframing the brand and business to deliver significant revenue growth, for which he won an FT Fast Track Award. In 2005, Alistair led an MBO, taking it to exit in 2007, after which he was retained as UK CEO of Qmatic, then ascended to the role of global CMO. Prior to this, Alistair spent 16 years with the Yamaha Corporation, where he became UK Operational Board Director responsible for three divisions, growing revenues dramatically and gaining market share.
In addition to his role at IPsoft, Alistair is a non-executive of an Ed-Tech company, brought in by the investors to create strategic alliances while maintaining its position as a disruptive player. In this position, he has helped pivot the company from training provider to a SaaS business, with recurring revenues and a tech platform used by blue-chip companies.
“IPsoft is at the forefront of the AI revolution and I could not be more delighted to join the team as we educate businesses on the explosive potential that cognitive digital labor can have,” said Alistair. “At a time when many are still concerned around the future of AI in society and, in particular, how that will affect the next-generation workforce, it is a critical time for advanced-AI providers, like IPsoft, to demonstrate how we can support and augment the employee experience in every industry, to make their roles more productive and fulfilling. And that is a mission I gladly accept.”
IPsoft is the world leader in Enterprise AI and the home of Amelia, the industry’s most-human digital AI colleague. Amelia’s ability to learn, interact and improve over time makes her the market’s only AI that can fully understand user needs and intentions. Amelia can be trained to recognize words and phrases in several languages. She delivers real-life business benefits including lower operating costs, higher customer satisfaction and increased employee productivity. IPsoft was the first company to launch an end-to-end digital platform, 1Desk, to deliver shared enterprise services. By connecting front-office conversations to back-end systems, IPsoft automates business processes that serve employees, customers and citizens, resulting in rapid resolutions, satisfied users and substantial organizational savings.
Headquartered in New York City, IPsoft has offices in 18 countries and serves more than 550 of the world’s leading brands directly, including more than half of the world’s largest IT services providers.
